Building Your Care Network
Caregivers
A caregiver is anyone that is authorized to help a care recipient complete their daily health and wellness tasks. While this includes professional caregivers and home health aides, if you take care of a loved one and help them with daily health and wellness tasks, you can also be considered a caregiver.
Caregivers can:
Be assigned shifts
Complete tasks
Log health-related events
See a care recipient’s details
Observers
An observer is someone who is an interested party of the care recipient, but not actively taking care them. This can include a friend or relative that you want to keep in the know.
Observers can:
See tasks, health events, shifts, and care recipient details
They can also be notified about certain events in Proxwell™ to keep track of a care recipient’s health journey
Adding caregivers & observers to your Network
Tap on the care recipient ‘card’ at the top of the screen from either Tasks, Health, or Shifts views
This will bring you to the care recipient details screen (learn more about care recipient details)
From here, find the ‘Caregivers’ menu near the top of the screen and tap it
You may need to swipe or scroll the menu horizontally to bring it into view
Once on the Caregiver view, tap the ‘+ Add’ button near the top of the screen
You can choose to invite either a caregiver, or an observer
Add their email at the prompt and submit
An invite is automatically sent to the email address you entered
Your caregiver is now part of the care recipient’s network and just needs to complete their account setup in order to be able to use Proxwell™
